Our fishing guides do this for a living, on the water every day during the summer time. They know where the fish are biting, understand the techniques needed to maximize their clients catch, and when to switch locations to find the best possible fishing spot. The presence of a knowledgeable, personable, and experienced guide and deckhand is what makes a fishing trip to Alaska special! There are several reasons people come back year after year, one of those being the personal connection created with our guides and deckhands.

Experienced Sitka Based Fishing Guides
Our lodge features two fishing guides (the Kraft brothers) who live in Sitka year round. The Kraft brothers have deep ties to the Sitka Area, and have a great understanding of the marine ecosystem surrounding Sitka. Captain Tyler Kraft on the Maverick has over 12 years of experience guiding in Sitka and is praised by his guests for upbeat attitude and willingness to try anything to put fish in the boat. Captain Nathan Kraft on the SeaKraft has spent 10 summers charter fishing in Sitka and loves seeing his guests smile after catching a beautiful King salmon. Both brothers take great pride in providing angler's of all skill levels the full Alaskan experience through catching fish, exploring Alaska's rugged landscape, and wildlife viewing.

Alaska Charter Fishing Boats
Our fishing fleet consists of 30 foot walk-around sport-fishers with enclosed cabins, a private bathroom, and twin outboard engines. The boats comfortably fish 4-6 anglers, and are perfect boats for open ocean fishing.
