Catch King salmon, Halibut, Black Cod, and Rockfish in Sitka

Sitka, located on Baranof Island, is home of some of the most premier Alaska salmon & halibut fishing in the world. Guests enjoy catching salmon, most notably the King Salmon & Silver Salmon, using the mooching and/or trolling technique (groups choice). The Sitka area also has an abundant Pacific Halibut fishery. We frequently catch halibut in the 30-40 pound range, and occasionally catch halibut over 100 pounds. Other fish frequently caught include Lingcod, Yelloweye rockfish, Black rockfish, and Black cod (Sablefish).​

Beautiful Oceanfront Accommodations

Fishing guests get access to our newly renovated Cascade Creek Lodge, which features 10 oceanfront rooms, each with a private balcony. Guests enjoy the newly renovated lobby, bar, and dining area, as well as delicious meals, snacks and appetizers prepared by our in-house chef. The lodge features expansive views of the Sitka Sound & famous Mt Edgecumbe.

Experienced Guides & World-Class Fishing Boats

Our fishing fleet consists of 30 foot walk-around sport-fishers with enclosed cabins, a private bathroom, and new twin outboard engines. Aboard each vessel is an experienced guide, deckhand, and ample room to accommodate 6 fishing guests.

• Up to 10 hours of ocean fishing per day (dock to dock)

• Experienced fishing guide & deckhand on a 30 ft walk-around sport fishing vessel

• All fish retained will be properly cared for, iced, vacuum sealed, frozen, & boxed

• Fish processing - up to 50 lbs of filleted fish per person

• Fish processing over 50 lb. per person (~$3.50/lb after 50 lbs)

• All local taxes (listed as separate charge on invoice)

• Fuel surcharge: A fuel surcharge based on the number of days fished may be added at anytime to the cost of your trip if fuel prices exceed $4.00/gallon

Reservation/Cancellation Policy

A $1000 per person deposit is required upon booking to reserve your fishing dates. No dates are reserved until the deposit(s) is made. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to your arrival. If you must cancel your trip, our policy is as follows:

• If your reservation is canceled more than 90 days prior to arrival, we will refund the amount paid minus 10%.

• If your reservation is canceled 61-90 days prior to arrival, we will refund the amount paid minus 25%.

• No refunds can be given for a cancellation within 60 days from your arrival, unless we are able to fill your canceled dates.

• If your reservation is canceled more than 30 days prior to arrival, you may choose to receive 100% credit towards a future trip in the same year or the following year only. We cannot guarantee the same rates or date availability. A $250 administrative fee per person will be assessed for this change in reservation.

We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect your trip against unforeseen circumstances.
