Season one of Cascade Creek Charters is officially in the books. What an fantastic summer. We had great weather, stellar fishing and an amazing community of anglers who shared our passion for sport fishing in SE Alaska.
A huge Thank You to all of those who joined us in Sitka, Alaska. We learned a lot and it was incredibly fulfilling to see that most of you will be returning next summer!
In our case, it takes a lot of family coming together to run a successful charter fishing lodge; including experienced and personable guides, high-quality boats and fishing gear, clean and comfortable accommodations, a world-class view and a lot of delicious food. This is Cascade Creek Inn & Charters first blog post and I would like it to be about our Sitka Alaska Fishing Packages. We changed our fishing packages for 2017 to try to make it as all-inclusive as possible. The fishing packages we offer are the 2 days Fishing | 3 nights Lodging, 3 days Fishing | 4 nights Lodging, 4 days Fishing | 5 nights Lodging, and 5 days Fishing | 6 nights Lodging. We also offer customized fishing packages upon request. We specialize in ocean fishing charters, however fly-fishing trips can also be accommodated. Included in the fishing packages are as follows:
-Airport pick-up / drop-off and unlimited shuttles around Sitka
-First 50 lb fish box per person (processed, vacuum sealed, & boxed)
-Alaska Fishing License & King Salmon Stamp
-10 hours on the ocean daily (typically 5:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.)
-Experienced fishing guide & deckhand
-30 foot walk-around fishing vessel (enclosed cabin, toilet, heater)
-Oceanfront room(s) at the Cascade Creek Inn -Quality rain gear (XtraTuff boots, Grundrens bibs / raincoat)
-Quality fishing gear (Shimano Tekota reels, G. Loomis rods)
-All meals on fishing days (we have an awesome in-house chef)
What is not included in your fishing package is as follows:
-Travel expenses to Sitka, AK (SIT)
-Evening meal on arrival / morning breakfast on departure -Alcohol
-Gratuities
